If you are looking for a full day adventure on the water, with loads of variety, then the Rangitaiki is the river for you. You will experience 14km of thrilling rapids, time to enjoy the spectacular scenery, fun and laughter, followed by more thrilling rapids.
The Rangitaiki River is situated in Murupara around 45 minutes from Rotorua or 1 hour from Taupo.
A Sandwich and a Muesli Bar are provided after the trip.
Age Limit: 10 years and must fit safety equipment (conditions apply).
Weight Limit: Recommended maximum of 125kg and minimum of 30kg (please advise us of any participants under 40kg)
Equipment: We provide wetsuits, fleeces, splash jackets, booties, buoyancy aids, and helmets.
Transport: From Rotorua central is available on request. Alternatively you can meet us at our Kaituna River Base or at the Murupara Camp Ground (plenty of free, safe parking at both).
Trips: Available all year round –10.30am pick up or 11.30am meet at river daily (flexibility for groups). Allow around 6 hours in total including Rotorua transfers.
